DTGruelle’s President and Founder, Durard Timothy Gruelle, is a veteran of the Vietnam war with ten year’s service in the US Army. After completing basic training, infantry training, and jump school, Mr. Gruelle was assigned to D/4 503rd Parachute Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam, followed by an assignment with the 101st Airborne Division, where he attended Jump master school and also graduated Ranger School and Pathfinder School at Fort Benning Georgia. His next assignment was with the 509th Airborne Battalion Combat Team in Vicenza Italy, serving as Platoon Sargent. His final assignment was as Senior Drill sergeant of a Basic Training Company at Fort Dix New Jersey.
